Pom Femme Drop New Single ‘Nightingale Blue’

Swedish alt-pop duo Pom Femme share their brand new single Nightingale Blue, a summery acoustic pop gem out now via Bolero Recordings.

Written and produced by Pom Femme, Nightingale Blue was created for the acoustic pop compilation HELLO SUNSHINE - Acoustic and cool and pairs delicate, dreamy vocals with a laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing summer's day. Apart from their soothing vocals and dreamy harmonies I am particularly fond of the captivating rhythms that are nicely intertwined with acoustic guitar strums that come together to create an overall comforting soundscape that instantly got me in a relaxed mood and ready for a lazy weekend!

Speaking about the song, Pom Femme said,
We learned from a birdwatcher that there are two kinds of Nightingales – one with a beautiful, warm song, and the one found in Sweden with a rasping undertone. A bit like a Swedish summer day that suddenly turns cold and miserable, or the highs and lows in a lifelong love relationship. Nightingale Blue is inspired by Swedish music icons like Ted Gärdestad and Pugh Rogefeldt – and lands somewhere where offbeat birdsong meets a sun-warmed heart.
