Luna Keller x Joe Pope Unveil New Single ‘Someone Else’

Spanish/German singer and songwriter Luna Keller teams up with American singer-songwriter Joe Pope to deliver Someone Else, a warm and intimate piece of indie-folk/americana music!

Out now via Cloudforce Productions, Someone Else finds the duo contemplating what could have been; all that could be if we had chosen to walk a different path. A relatable storytelling about looking inward at our fears and biases, becoming aware of all the times they stopped us from living life fully and deeply can be a painful thing to do. This song sounds like it has been written for me because I do look back at things I could have done differently but didn't, due to fear. I like how they give a hopeful touch of not being too late to become the person you want to be, a message flawlessly conveyed through their stunning vocals and enchanting harmonies that radiate raw, honest emotion and soul from start to finish. Accompanying their stellar vocal performance we have lush strings nicely intertwined with captivating acoustic guitar plucks, subtle harmonica touches, gentle piano keys and warm rhythms that come together to create an overall intimate atmosphere perfect for a laid-back, introspective day home alone!

Speaking about the song, Luna Keller said,
Getting to write in person with Joe after a long online friendship and having collaborated remotely on his song Barricade was such a gift. I remember sitting by the fireplace in that backyard in Nashville songwriting with one of my favourite people and feeling so grateful. And I love this song and it's journey, to give a space to doubts in this one has helped me embrace the path I'm on more fully. I'm happy that I get to say that I wouldn't want to be anyone else but me.

Joe Pope added,
Writing ‘Someone Else’ with Luna was one of those rare experiences where the music seemed to find us as much as we found it. It was such a magical experience getting to know Luna in person—for her to travel with my family and explore Nashville was so much fun, and the song we created there felt like a natural extension of what can happen when you say yes to stepping beyond your self-imposed limits. I’m so proud of this song and what we created together.
