Isogenic Share New Single ‘You Enjoy’

Danish electro-rock quartet Isogenic share their brand new single You Enjoy, the second single from their upcoming debut album Libertine

The follow up to last month's Age, You Enjoy is a clubby, synth-heavy gem with a heartfelt and personal storytelling that instantly makes it quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience. This is an intimate and raw piece of music that explores the tension between restraint and desire, craving honesty and mutual vulnerability. It's a song about how underneath a composed and polite appearance, there's a more primal side beneath the surface, longing to be desired both emotionally and sexually. A message flawlessly conveyed through a stellar vocal performance that radiates raw emotion which is accompanied by lush piano keys seamlessly intertwined with expansive synths, captivating rhythms, killer bass and an infectious driving beat that make this a clubby, yet emotionally-charged listening experience. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, producer and songwriter Emil Lundbak said,
Lyrically, it explores a rarely depicted perspective: the man as a passive object of desire. As a heterosexual man, expressing a longing to be desired — emotionally and sexually — felt both vulnerable and liberating. It’s a position that often seems off-limits in mainstream narratives, and that tension became the core of the song. We wanted the sonic and visual world of the song (including the music video) to reflect a sense of exposure — both physical and emotional — and to challenge some of the ideas around masculinity and sexual agency. 'You Enjoy' is about stepping into the light and daring to be wanted.
