Emma Teufel Unveils New Single ‘Delete’

American singer and songwriter Emma Teufel shares her brand new single Delete, an upbeat electro-pop cut about finally letting go of a toxic ex. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its playful atmosphere and how infectious the chorus is, instantly getting me to sing along to it right after the very first one. Delete is a relatable song about being fed up with the lies and manipulation, finally reclaiming your power by cutting off all contact with that toxic person! This message is wrapped around an upbeat electro/synthpop production that pairs her gorgeous vocals with a driving beat with lush bass and captivating rhythms that create an overall warm, feel-good and confident atmosphere!

Speaking about the song, Emma Teufel said,

My new song "Delete," simply put, is about finally letting go of a toxic ex. When we wrote this song a couple years ago, I wanted to highlight the POV of heartbreak where you're finally fed up with the lies, manipulation, and half-hearted apologies. And to me, this is something to be celebrated! When you're finally done wasting energy on someone who doesn’t appreciate you and reclaiming your power by cutting off all contact. A.K.A. hitting "delete!"
