Mysterious masked contemporary indie/country duo Bad Flamingo share their brand new single Hold Up the Lighter, an infectious blend of indie-rock, folk-noir and country music. 

 

I am a fan of those amazing vocals which radiate so much emotion and soul that instantly captured my attention from start to finish. Bad Flamingo always deliver enthralling listening experiences and Hold Up the Lighter is yet another example of their minimalist and cinematic artistry. Apart from the soul and confidence pouring from those vocals, I am particularly fond of the haunting electric and acoustic guitar strums that are nicely paired with subtle banjo plucks, killer drum beats, tense percussion and a hazy touch that make this song a memorable listening experience perfect for laid-back drives and to be featured in the score of a noir-inspired, western-like movie!
