Avery Lynch Shares New Single ‘Lasting Effects’

Los Angeles-based singer & songwriter Avery Lynch has just shared her brand new single Lasting Effects, a hauntingly intimate yet ultimately empowering reflection on love, loss, and self-discovery.

Out now via RECORDS V2, Lasting Effects is the latest gem out of a plethora of heartfelt singles such as think about it, the boys who don’t know what they want and Dead to Me, finding the talented artist continuing to showcase a deep and intimate storytelling that is guaranteed to pull at your heartstrings. Offering another vivid glimpse into the emotional world of her forthcoming project, set for release later this year, Lasting Effects is an emotionally raw piece of music that comes in the wake of a breakup, inviting listeners into her inner world with a song that feels both deeply personal and widely relatable. It also shows how she rediscovered parts of herself that had been quieted during the relationship, something many of us that have been through a breakup tend to go through.

A relatable, heartfelt messafe flalessly conveyed through Avery Lynch's stunning, emotionally-charged vocals that are accompanied by soft keys, ambient textures, delicate guitars and hushed percussion that come together to create a warm, soothing atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend!

The inspiration for Lasting Effects came in the wake of a breakup, when Avery was told no one else would love her the way he had.
At the time, I knew he was wrong,. But as I got further from the situation, I realized he was right—but not in the way he thought. I realized I don’t ever want someone like him, and I don’t want to be loved like that. I think it’s a really positive and hopeful song. I hope it inspires people and leaves a positive lasting effect.
