Siena Fantini Shares New Single ‘the loved’

Teen-pop singer and songwriter Siena Fantini shares her brand new single the loved, a lovely, heartfelt pop ballad about unrequited love.

Her second single to date, following her debut single wanna know her name (which arrived this March), the loved is produced by Sean Hurley (bassist for John Mayer) and finds the 15-year-old singing about developing feelings for a new person and naturally wondering when it’ll be her turn to have those feelings reciprocated. A delicate, heartfelt storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through Fantini's expressive and passionate vocals which soar brightly over the captivating pop production. A deeply thoughtful song with a youthful perspective that is wrapped around an infectious production that features emotive piano arrangements nicely intertwined with steady drum beats, killer guitar and bass plucks that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere that enhances the raw emotion of her relatable storytelling.

Speaking about the song, Siena Fantini said,
I wrote ‘the loved’ in maybe 20 minutes. This is one of those songs that word vomited itself into fruition when I got home from a party. There was this cute guy there that I had no idea how to impress (or why I even felt the need to impress him). I just ended up talking and running my mouth so much that I simply just embarrassed myself. When I got home that night, I sort of spiraled, thinking about how I constantly put my entire heart into people, but I never quite get the same thing back. It was a moment of insecurity for me, but I feel like that's something a lot of people deal with, feeling like you'll never find the love that you want.
