American singer and songwriter Mindy Gledhill has just shared her brand new single Prismatic, an upbeat euro/synthpop song with a nostalgic touch! 

 

A sort of a memoir of her teenage years spent living in Spain and frequenting late night discos, Prismatic is a radiant, empowering anthem that radiates confidence, resilience and beauty. Gledhill's lovely vocals beautifully embody that liberating sense of spiritual and emotional resilience which is accompanied by shimmering vintage synths nicely intertwined with captivating percussive elements, lush guitar and bass plucks that come together to create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere that makes the song perfect for radios and for those moments reminiscing about the good old times!

I felt like I could be free and just let go, exuberantly expressing myself through dancing. The song is kind of a memoir of that time. I loved developing the sonic palette of the songs, I like combining unexpected instruments and creating unique sounds.
