Lyves Drops New Single ‘For Eden’
London-based, alt-soul, singer-songwriter and producer Lyves returns with her brand new single For Eden, an enchanting blend of indie-pop, folk, contemporary r&b and dream pop elements!
The second single to be taken from her forthcoming EP Out of the Blue, out this summer, For Eden was co-produced by Lyves & Sam Crowe (Cleo Sol) and marks the first time Lyves addresses mental health in her music. This gem finds the talented artist reflecting on one's inner turmoil, feelings of isolation and disconnection from themselves and the outside world, longing for a true, meaningful connection. A relatable, deeply emotional song that is flawlessly conveyed through Lyves's unmistakable vocal performance that effortlessly enhances the depth of emotion of her storytelling, instantly making me feel each and every single word she is singing.
Accompanying her gorgeous vocals I am particularly fond of the warm, expansive synths, bright electronics, delicate piano keys, gentle guitar plucks and drum patterns that come together to create a dreamy, emotionally-charged listening experience that is quite comforting and perfect for a laid-back weekend!

Before becoming a full-time musician, I spent many years advocating for mental health, working in psychiatric hospitals across the UK to amplify the voices of those facing mental health challenges. It’s a cause close to my heart and a message that feels especially vital in today’s world. I took risks in creating this music, sharing deeply personal experiences. This feels like a turning point in my songwriting, and I’m incredibly proud of the outcome.
