My Poor Boy is a reflective blend of Folk and Country elements about knowing a relationship is unhealthy while still being emotionally tethered to that person. It shows how one's yearning, longing and emotional dependence doesn't allow them to acknowledge the relationship is truly over. A message flawlessly conveyed through Dubh Lee's rich, expressive vocals that radiate raw emotion and soul, instantly making me feel each and every single word she is singing.
