What I like the most about this song is its summery vibe and how it instantly got me in a good mood and ready for a fun weekend. He's Not You is a song that explores the emotional conflict of going on a date with someone that seems perfect on paper - charming, successful and kind - but still doesn't compare to a past love. A song about not being over someone and that finds the talented artist expressing guilt and frustration, acknowledging that the new guy doesn't deserve rejection.
