This touching single is quite comforting, highlighting the love and appreciation for those in our lives that lift us up when times get time. A message flawlessly conveyed through Caleb Hearn's passionate, heartfelt vocals that are backed by lovely harmonies which effortlessly enhance the intimacy and raw emotion of his storytelling.
Accompanying his vocal delivery we have gorgeous guitar plucks nicely intertwined with a steady drum beat, delicate piano keys and lovely backing vocals that culminate into a highly infectious and anthemic chorus perfect to sing along to! A great song perfect for a fun summer's weekend out with the ones you love!
Speaking about the song, Caleb Hearn said,
To me, ‘The Lows’ feels like a big hug. I hope everyone has someone in their life who makes them feel like this song—someone who lifts them up when times get tough. We wrote verse two specifically about my relationship with my wife. When we met, she would come visit from her home back in Chicago and stay a few days until I convinced her to move to Nashville. She would always bring a suitcase and that’s where we came up with the line 'folding one week’s clothes in a suitcase.'
Accompanying the release, Caleb Hearn shares its official music video, directed by Adam Rioux, which beautifully embodies the warmth and soul of his storytelling!
On the music video, Caleb Hearn shares,
The music video for ‘The Lows’ is really personal to me—it follows a road trip with my wife and our closest friends through the backroads of South Tennessee. We stopped in little towns, stayed in cabins, and just soaked up every moment together. It’s about love, simplicity, and holding tight to the people who feel like home. Directed by Adam Rioux, who brought such heart and intention to every frame—he truly helped turn our memories into something timeless.
