98º and Janine Teñoso Drop New Single ‘Mona Lisa’

Grammy-nominated R&B/pop-inspired group 98° - formed by brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre - are back with their brand new single Mona Lisa, a heartfelt collaboration with Filipina songstress Janine Teñoso.

Taken from their latest album Full Circle (out now via XOXO Entertainment), Mona Lisa is a timeless, romantic pop duet produced by Adam H. Hurstfield that beautifully showcases their powerhouse, heartfelt vocals with a fresh, global energy. This is a song about how people hide their true emotions, how we mask the pain, painting ourselves to look fine even when we're struggling deep inside. A deeply emotional and relatable song about how we all tend to wear a mask, sharing a message about vulnerability and the pressure to appear ok.

Their vocals are incredible, I can clearly see Nick's heartfelt tone and how it blends beautifully with delicate, passionate tone, both packed with raw emotion and gliding effortlessly over the captivating production. Accompanying their vocals we have emotive piano keys nicely intertwined with lush strings/synths and a punchy beat that come together to create an overall emotional, heartfelt listening experience!
