Mikel Rafael Shares New Single ‘Maples and Pines’

American singer and songwriter Mikel Rafael shares his brand new single Maples and Pines, the first single to be taken from a tree-song EP called The Eternal Hour. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and comforting atmosphere that makes it perfect for those cold, rainy days home alone. Each song of this project occurs at a different time in the day - morning, noon, and night - and Maples and Pines is a song told from the point of view of someone who insists to the listener that if they listen closely enough to the silence of the woods around them, they'll be able to hear a faint melody whispering through it. A storytelling beautifully delivered through Mikel Rafael's smooth, expressive vocals which are accompanied by delicate guitar plucks seamlessly intertwined with lush strings and subtle rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere!
