Charles Costa Shares New Single ‘When The War Was Starting’
Renowned artist Charles Costa has just shared his brand new single When The War Was Starting, an epic indie/alt-rock gem!
Taken from his eagerly-awaited self-titled new album, out now via Wipe Out Music, When The War Was Starting is part of a new era for the artist previously known as King Charles. I am a fan of his smooth, evocative vocals which commmand our attention from start to finish and soar beautifully atop the polished production. His gorgeous vocals are accompanied by a folk-infused alternative rock production with steady guitar riffs nicely intertwined with lush violins, delicate keyboards and electronic elements that build up and explode with energy on the bridge, beautifully giving the song an epic and memorable touch that won me over and got me excited to want to share it with you guys!
Speaking about the album, Charles Costa said,
This is an album of new songs exploring the distance between life's longings and laments. Always looking for a way to 'complete' life - find truth or meaning or purpose - leading me down paths of discovery and revelation. Sometimes ending up at dead ends, sometimes to new openings and avenues. These journeys seem to be a bouncing between the boundaries of longings and laments and that is what is behind most of this album.
