TIKHET Drop New Single ‘So Unique’

TIKHET, the project of German DJ and producer Sepalot and songwriter and poet Angela Aux, drop their new single So Unique, the latest from their upcoming full album ‘mixtape suite’ set for release in early 2025. 

 

Inspired by the chaotic contrast between ambitious master plans and the messy reality we often wake up to, So Unique is a groove-laden piece of music that instantly got me in a good mood and excited to share it with you guys. So Unique finds the duo playfully critiquing the world of business plans and the corporate culture of trying to control everything, while embracing the unpredictability of life. A message embodied by its infectious production that pairs a driving, britpop-esque beat with lush guitars and a cool bass that come together to create an overall feel-good atmosphere.

Speaking about the song, TIKHET said,

Everyone I know is into mass attempts to change everything they know into a masterplan and whenever I wake up into the mess I left I guess nothing they are into had a mass effect.’ In other words: lots of people talk about their master plans, but when you wake up in the morning and look out of the window, you realise that none of the plans seem to be working. ‘So Unique’ is therefore a little parody of the world of business plans and suit armies.
