The Neighbourhood Watch Share New Single ‘Spoke Like Summer’

Canadian band The Neighbourhood Watch share their brand new single Spoke Like Summer, a string-arranged (done by Brendan Thomas) ballad inspired by the feeling of falling in love after coming out of a dark place.

I am loving their story-driven blend of folk and indie rock which sounds so effortless and makes the song quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience. I am particularly fond of those gorgeous, expressive vocals which radiate raw emotion, singing about falling in love and the joy of building a future with someone. A relatable message wrapped around an infecctious production that pairs a memorable, cinematic string arrangement with steady guitar plucks, subtle drumss and delicate piano keys that come together to create an overall warm, romantic atmosphere.
