Elephant Kind Share New Single ‘Lionel’

London-based, Indonesian three-piece Indie pop / electro band Elephant Kind share their brand new single Lionel, an upbeat indie-pop gem out now on MOLA RECORDS . 

 

What I like the most about the song is its blissful vibes and how it sounds perfect to be the soundtrack of carefree summer holidays. Written by Elephant Kind (completed by drummer Bayu Adisapoetra and bassist Kevin Septanto) and produced by Iain Berryman (beabadoobee, Wolf Alice, Young Fathers), Lionel is a synthesis of sparkling indie-pop joy and modern disco grooves. I am particularly fond of frontman Bam Mastro’s soaring falsetto which soars beautifully over the upbeat production that pairs sleek synths, groovy rhythms and a radio-friendly hook that together create an irresistible listening experience that instantly got me in a good mood and ready for a fun weekend!
