Alexander Grandjean Shares New Single ‘Sage’

Danish singer, songwriter and producer Alexander Grandjean shares his brand new single Sage, a delicate indie-folk song out now via Dreamwriters/Omana Music. 

 

The latest single to be lifted from Grandjean's forthcoming album, due out around November, Sage is a song about a young man leaving society to become a sage – a wise person. He hears that the world is falling apart back home which confirms his choice of temporarily leaving the world to come back wiser. In the meanwhile, he’s stuck in the cold night under the stars. A lovely storytelling beautifully delivered through Grandjean's smooth, expressive vocals that glide effortlessly over the captivating production. 

 

Written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Alexander Grandjean, Sage finds the artist pairing his dreamy vocals with classical guitars, a groovy beat and distorted bass guitar that are then joined by a more ambient vibe that includes choir, piano, synth pads, würlitzer, strings and brass ensemble (trombone, flugelhorn, French horn, tuba, euphonium). The overall result is a warm, comforting listening experience perfect for a reflective day home alone.
