A song about heartbreak and healing, The Painted Goose finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his poetic songwriting skills and heartfelt, emotive vocals over a captivating indie-folk/rock production. I am loving the intimate atmosphere of the song and how it allows us to really connect to his gorgeous vocals and stellar storytelling. Apart from his heartfelt delivery, I am particularly fond of the delicate guitar strums (And killer solo) and how they are nicely paired with steady drum beats and echoing harmonies that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for those introspective days home alone.
