Liam Barrack Shares New Single ‘Lucky’

Toronto based singer-songwriter Liam Barrack has just shared his brand new single Lucky, an angsty, yet upbeat indie-pop song which grapples with themes of uncertainty.

This catchy song follows Barrack's January single release, Empty Spaces, and finds the talented artist continuing to embrace infectious pop production while mining the complexities of his inner world. I am really enjoying the tone of his voice and how passionate his delivery is, gliding beautifully over the indie-pop/rock production. An introspective song about living in fear of the future, which makes it harder to live in the present, Lucky is a very relatable song wrapped around steady drum patterns seamlessly paired with killer guitar riffs and bright synths that together create an overall upbeat, angsty atmosphere.

Speaking about the song, Liam Barrack said,

‘Lucky’ is about feeling simultaneously very fortunate but also very scared of when your luck might run out, and the process of living in fear of the future; making it hard to live in the present.
