JEMS Share New Single ‘Smoking Gun’

Alternative Folk trio JEMS share their brand new single Smoking Gun, a retro-infused piece of music out now on Head Bitch Music. 

 

The latest single to be taken from their upcoming sophomore album, Back Around, Smoking Gun is a cheeky song that finds the trio delving into the murky waters of a romance gone awry, echoing vintage records and psychedelic influences. I am loving the powerful, confident vocals and harmonies which are packed with soul and confidence, soaring effortlessly over the upbeat melodies. The retro, psychedelic touches are definitely one of my favourite parts of the song, beautifully paired with cool rhythms that come together to create a fiery energy perfect to get one in a good mood and ready to face the day and all those that have done us wrong.
