Lo Lauren Shares New Single ‘No Good In Goodbye’

British Pop trail-blazer Lo Lauren shares her first single of the year, No Good In Goodbye.

Taken from her forthcoming Wonderlust EP, No Good In Goodbye follows the ghoul-y winter release Monster and finds the talented singer-songwriter delivering an empowering break-up anthem, encouraging listeners to focus on self-worth. I am loving her voice and how it soars effortlessly over the upbeat pop production that has an infectious chorus that got me singing along to it right after the very first listen. No Good In Goodbye explores the intricacies of a breakup, from dealing with the heartache to eventually trying to move on, all this wrapped around a highly infectious pop production with killer melodies, lush synths, catchy drum patterns and towering hooks. This is a song perfect to sing out loud while dancing the pain away.

Speaking about the song, Lo Lauren said,
Breaking up with someone is never easy, but it’s a real smack in the face when it turns out to ache a lot more than you thought it would. No Good in Goodbye is a melodramatic reminder that no matter what the situation, goodbye is always gonna hurt (at least at first). Head banging for the pop girlies, while we question “hang on, I was supposed to be fine?!!!
This gem is accompanied with a music video, shot in London by Sam Sure, that features a vintage Alfa Romeo and Lo's mum's wedding dress. Check it out below!

When asked about direction of the music video, Lo Lauren explained,
I wanted this video to be an outpour of melodrama, exploring that angsty, inconsolable period of time post-breakup, where you are doubting every decision you ever made. I had this image in my head of me wearing a wedding dress and luckily my mum had hers which worked perfectly to portray this runaway bride idea - which really is just a metaphor for leaving someone that potentially could’ve been your forever.
