Swiss band Soft Loft share their brand new single The Party And The Mess, the title track of their new album which iis out now!
What I like the most about this song is its warmth and intimate atmosphere that is packed with so much raw, honest emotion which instantly gave me the feels. Those vocals are amazing, both vulnerable and powerful at the same time, drawing listeners to their ode to life and trust. Apart from Jornia Stamm's hauntingly beautiful vocals, I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar riffs in the beginning which set the tone for an intimate atmosphere which towards the end builds up in energy with electric guitar riffs and punchy drums that enhance the emotions of their storytelling. This is such a memorable listening experience, packed with so much soul and emotion, making it perfect for those reflective days home alone.

The phrase "The Party And The Mess, which became a song and the album title, comes from my grandmother. When I used to visit her at her retirement home, she would tell me that when she knows it's time to go, she wants to put on her favorite red dress and throw a big party with lots of champagne! So, on the one hand, it’s a tribute to her, but it's also an ode to life: the big party and mess of it all.
