Leona Rue Shares New Single ‘Bad Song’

British singer and songwriter Leona Rue shares her infectious new single Bad Song, the latest single to be lifted from her upcoming debut Ep, All Of London Saw, set to arrive on April 26th via Phase Forward Music.

What I like the most about this song is its energy and how confident Leona Rue's vocal delivery is, beautifully drawing our attention to her relatable storytelling. Bad Song has a grit to it that reminds me of those epic 90s indie-pop/rock songs packed with soul and attitude that brings me back fond memories growing up. The song draws inspiration from the house party culture where you go to a place with friends to have fun but you can't quite stop having someone stuck in your head. Apart from her effortless vocals and storytelling abilities, I am very fond of the soaring guitar riffs and punchy drum patterns that make this quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Leona says:
‘Bad Song’ is inspired by house party culture. It's a song for when you get too drunk and talk to that person you hate but are always secretly hoping to see there. You're with friends but still keep them in the corner of your eye, failing to ignore them. Everyone has a person that is just stuck in their head like a 'bad song', so I thought it’d be fun to write about.
