Jason Ivy, the moniker of Chicaco-based acclaimed singer-songwriter, SAG-AFTRA actor and filmmaker Jason Victor Roberts, shares his brand new single Crush. 

 

Out now via AWAL, Crush follows last year's Divided and is the second single to be lifted from his upcoming debut album, Divided. What I like the most about thie song is how gorgeous and dynamic Jason Ivy's vocals are, exuding so much soul and emotion that instantly makes us feel each and every single word he is singing. I am particularly fond of his soaring falsettos and how his delivery glides effortlessly over an infectious blend of alt-r&b, neo-soul and psychedelic rock elements. The whole atmosphere of the song is quite warm with a smooth, somewhat sensual touch, that makes it perfect for bedroom sessions or relaxing moments home alone.
