Bellah Mae Shares Heartfelt Ballad ‘2053’

British singer and songwriter Bellah Mae shares her brand new single 2053, a heartfelt pop ballad taken from her upcoming sophomore Ep, Never Waste A Heartbreak, out on May 3rd.

I am a fan of her rich, expressive vocals and how passionate her vocal delivery is, exuding so much soul and emotion that instantly makes me feel each and every single word she is singing. I am also loving how dreamy and ethereal her harmonies are which beautifully enhance the emotion of this heartfelt storytelling. 2053 finds the talented artist unveiling her most emotive side, wondering if someone that's not longer in her life will still be a part of her. This honest, relatable storytelling is backed by a stunning, emotive piano-based melody that is slowly paired with a catchy beat and cinematic strings that burst with energy to match the emotion pouring from her gorgeous vocal delivery.

Speaking about the song, Bellah Mae said
Everybody will always tell you ‘it’ll be okay’ and ‘there’s plenty of fish in the sea’ but sometimes you wonder if they’ll always be a part of you that reflects on a particular person that’s no longer in your life anymore. As for writing the lyrics, I really wanted to tell a story of how strange it is for that person to not be aware of big changes or things happening within your life now.
