Sonic Blume Share ‘Rocky & I ’ Music Video

New Jersey-based indie rock band Sonic Blume, consisting of Max Connery on vocals/guitar/synth, Noah Sullivan on guitar/synth, and James Waltsack on bass, share the official music video for their latest single Rocky & I.

Out now on Shore Points Records, Rocky & I is a song about ephemeral euphoria that comes from teenage love, a relatable message conveyed through lush, confident vocals wrapped around a captivating indie-rock production that features soaring guitar riffs seamlessly paired with punchy drums and late 90s, early 2000s alt-rock vibes that instantly make the song a memorable listening experience. Accompanying the release, the band shares its official music video, shot at various locations around Long Beach Island and directed by Kris Kunachak. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Max Connery said,
Rocky & I was the first song we wrote for this project, and also the first one we recorded. The song is about the feelings of teenage love/lust, salad days and naivety. For me, it’s also about ephemeral euphoria, and for that period of time just completely blocking out and forgetting about everything else in the world. 'Rocky & I' has also become one of our favorites to play live. We started playing this song live roughly around a year before we released it, and it immediately became one people seem to really respond positively to. It’s been a fun song to open up sets with to sort of set the tone, and get us and the audience feeling good.
