Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Stela Cole has just shared her brand new single Die Hard, a seductive, dark-pop gem about tumultuous relationships.
I am a fan of Stela Cole's rich, passionate vocals which have a subtle raspy touch that effortlessly enhances the raw emotion pouring from her dynamic vocal delivery. Die Hard is a song about being in a toxic relationship, how sometimes pain is disguised as passion and the struggles of getting out of a vicious circle. Backing her stunning vocals, we have killer guitar riffs seamlessly paired with subtle strings and dreamy harmonies that create an overall warm, enthralling listening experience.

Stela Cole said the song is about how
tumultuous relationships can feel like an endless cycle, especially when pain is disguised as passion, this is something I struggled with for a long time. I’d let myself fall for someone I knew wasn’t good for me, and even in moments of courage, I’d pack my bags and somehow end up right back where I started. Sometimes, habits take an entire lifetime to break. Die Hard is about my experience of consistently choosing the wrong path with the wrong people… even when I know where it ends.
