Lost and Profound, the project of Canadian artists Lisa Boudreau and Terry Tompkins, share their brand new single Love's Hard Landing, a smooth, melancholic gem out now via Drunken Boat Records. 

 

Written about the consequences of a broken relationship, Love's Hard Landing takes listeners on an emotional journey through lost love, feelings beautifully conveyed through those stunning, gorgeous vocals. Apart from the expressive vocals, I am particularly fond of the subtle brass elements, steady drums and guitar plucks that together create such a warm atmosphere full of melancholy, soul and emotion.
