Helmut, the moniker of Berlin-based singer and songwriter Adrian Schull, returns with his brand new single Done With The Lies, his first entirely self-produced and mixed track. 

 

I am really enjoying the flow of the song and how smooth and effortless his vocal delivery is, finding him contemplating feelings of loss and longing and whether untruths and ‘little lies’ might just be what keeps a love alive, at least ‘for a sweet little while’. A relatable story that is beautifully backed by a captivating production that pairs lush guitar plucks with steady drum patterns, creating an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for a laid-back, introspective day home alone.
