Black Sands, the recording project of Los Angeles-based producer Andrew Balfour, teams up with Scottish singer, songwriter & producer KOOLKID to deliver Hollywood Heartbeats, a captivating and romantic electro-pop cut. 

 

I am loving the retro touches of the song with its nostalgic 80's-inspired shimmering synths and drums that make this quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience. Written by KOOLKID, Hollywood Heartbeats is a blissful love song that is beautifully conveyed through his gorgeous, smooth vocals which exude so much soul and emotion that instantly got me hooked to the song. The whole atmosphere of the song is quite warm and I am loving how seamless the pairing of the intricate guitar lines with the expansive synths and drum patterns is, effortlessly creating a warm, nostalgic soundscape that makes me think of those long, carefree summer days.
