Delilah Brao Shares New Single ‘Over The Phone’

Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Delilah Brao shares her brand new single Over The Phone, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming 7-track EP, Since You're In New York.

What I like the most about this song is how warm it sounds, allowing for the listeners to fully focus on Delilah Brao's smooth, dynamic vocal delivery and relatable storytelling. I am loving how much vulnerability and emotion pours from her vocals, singing about heartbreak from a long distance relationship. This message is wrapped around a captivating folk-infused pop production that features intricate acoustic guitar riffs throughout the song that are seamlessly paired with her echoing, haunting harmonies and cool rhythms, This is one of those songs perfect for a reflective day home alone. She confides,
Over The Phone is about this guy I dated who broke up with me on FaceTime. The call only lasted 5 minutes - it’s like he fit it in between episodes of the series we were watching together. It’s grim. We dated for years. But, long distance sucks and the song kind of speaks for itself in that way.
