Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Vince Palmeri shares his brand new single Sabotager, a high-energy pop gem taken from his upcoming EP set to arrive in January.
What I like the most about this song is how passionate his vocal delivery is, exuding so much emotion and confidence that effortlessly draws the listener's attention to his relatable storytelling. Sabotager finds the talented artist drawing inspiration from a low moment in his life and how in a way he was sabotaging his own happiness and hurting others in the process. This is definitely something I can absolutely relate to as I tend to sabotage my own happiness, and I think many of you can relate to.
Backing this powerful message and his gorgeous vocals, we have an upbeat production that pairs soaring electric guitars with cool rhythms and punchy drum patterns that create an overall energetic, somewhat aggressive, and confident atmosphere perfect to get you hyped up for a long day and singing along to it in no time. Speaking about the song, Vince Palmeri said,
"Sabotager" is the most recent single from my upcoming EP that's due out in January. For me, this song was birthed from an extremely painful time in my life. I had hit rock bottom and realized that I was, in some way, sabotaging my own happiness and hurting others in the process. I felt like there was another person inside of me calling the shots and pulling that strings to make me do things that didn't align with the person I wanted to be. I had the idea for the title one night which was originally "monster under my bed" which became a lyric in the verse. I brought the idea to my frequent collaborator MkX and co-writer Hannah, and the rest is history.
