The Kites Share New Single ‘Drunk In Japan’

Leeds-based indie-pop/rock band The Kites share their anthemic new single Drunk In Japan, the latest single to be lifted from their upcoming self-released sophomore EP due later this year. 

 

This young British band consists of teenagers Joseph Staniforth (Singer/Guitar 19), Jake McBrinn (Guitar 19), Elodie Parsons (Bass 17) and Oliver Staniforth (Drums 17) and their new offering is quite an exciting and memorable listening experience. I am particularly fond of Joseph's passionate vocals which exude raw emotion, gliding beautifully over the pop-rock production. Backing his lush vocal delivery, we have soaring guitar riffs (not to mention an epic guitar solo)which are seamlessly paired with a killer bass and punchy drum patterns that create a high-energy, anthemic atmosphere perfect to get you energised and ready for a long day.
