Otto Aday Shares New Single ‘Dancing Round The Morning Sun’

London-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Otto Aday shares his brand new single Dancing Round The Morning Sun, the latest single to be taken from his new album Persona which is out now via Bay Street Records.

I am loving the British rock 'n' roll energy which is spiked with a bit of 60s psychedelia, instantly getting me in a good mood and ready for a fun weekend. The melodic electric guitar riff has an epic touch and is seamlessly paired with handclaps that underline the momentum and usher the song towards a chantable chorus. Otto Aday's distinctive vocals, which exude so much soul and emotion, glide nonchalantly over the upbeat melodies sharing a message about finding the right pieces of ourselves so we become the version of ourselves we want to be. The whole atmosphere of the song is incredibly captivating and is effortlessly enhanced by its accompanying eccentric music video, directed by Myles Docherty, that you can check out below!

Speaking about the song, Otto Aday said,
As you go about life, you definitely uncover pieces of yourself you may not be so keen on. You have to brush past those moments and move forward. So, the song is about finding the right pieces of yourself and assembling them to become the version of you who you would like to be. I started the song writing about my childhood, thinking back on memories of hide and seek and how easy life was. Otto elaborates. The verses are about the impurities and hardships that get in the way of that easy life. In the video the dancers' costumes are based on tarot cards as a way to symbolize the parts of you that you find as you grow through those hardships.
