NOEL Shares Debut Single ‘When You’re Not Mine’
Swedish singer and songwriter NOEL is set to make his mark with his debut single When You're Not Mine, a heartfelt pop ballad out now via BLNK Music.
Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists like James Arthur and Lewis Capaldi, NOEL transformed his innate talent into heartfelt and soul-stirring compositions and When You're Not Mine is the perfect example of that. I am absolutely in love with NOEL's powerhouse vocals which are packed with raw emotion and soul that instantly make us feel each and every single word he is singing. This is a song about longing for a special someone, a relatable message wrapped around a memorable production that pairs cool electronics with emotive piano chords, subtle guitars, lush strings and punchy drum patterns that build up with energy to match the emotion pouring from his passionate vocal delivery. Speaking about the song, NOEL said,
When You’re Not Mine was one of the first songs I wrote on my songwriting journey, and it has sort of progressed over time, just like me. It started as a break-up song, but it didn’t feel honest since I haven't really been in love before. After rewriting the lyrics, it evolved into a personal story about longing for a special someone. Now, over a year later and after many late nights, I think we finally got it right, and I’m very proud of it. This song is for my future person.
