Liam Fender Shares New Single ‘Metanoia’
Newcastle native Liam Fender shares his brand new single Metanoia, the latest single to be taken from his highly anticipated debut EP Love Will…, which is out now via Humble Angel Records!
I am a fan of his rich, expressive vocals which effortlessly captured my attention to his relatable storytelling. There are touches of melancholia in this song that I really like with the entire production beautifully enhancing the emotion pouring from his voice. I am also very fond of the intricate guitar riffs seamlessly paired with a steady drum pattern, lush strings and haunting harmonies that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for an introspective day. This EP is a collection of songs I’ve been sat on for some time now. Each song represents a period of my life over the last 10 years in some shape or form. They’re not songs I made a conscious decision to write, merely things that appeared from the ether that I felt compelled to document. They form in part for me, a stepping stone towards a greater body of work I intend to share in the not too distant future. It’s a catharsis I’m finally happy to share with a wider audience.
