What I like the most about this song is how effortless and relatable his storytelling is, beautifully conveyed through his lovely vocals and captivating production. As the title implies, Take The Hint is a song about people that ghost you instead of coming clean and say they're simply not that interested, leaving you to take the hint that they're no longer into you. I really hate when I'm texting with someone and out of the blue their replies take longer than before, slowing ending up ghosting you without any explanation. This is a song that condemns those that avoid breakups, ghosters but also an empathetic song for the "victims". This message is wrapped around an upbeat pop production with intricate guitar riffs, steady drum patterns and catchy rhythms that together create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere.
