Aiza Shares New Single ‘Kité’

After the release of her bombastic singles, Cocoa Butter and Majimbo, Montreal-via-Toronto artist Aiza returns with Kité the latest cut taken from her upcoming album Sovereignty, due out on September 27th! 
 
The only song performed in French on Sovereignty, Kité is confrontational and assertive, finding Aiza reflecting about a conversation she had with someone where she has finally had enough and speaks her mind. This song oozes confident anthem is built atop a blend of West African and Afrucuban rhythms that make it sound perfect for a fun summer's day out at the beach. Check it out below! 
 

Speaking about the song, Aiza said, 

The title ‘Kité’ is a play on words. The word ‘quitter’ in French means ‘to leave.’ And it can also mean ‘Qui t’es’ as in ‘Who are you?’.
