Copenhagen based duo, Veruna, consisting of singer and keyboard player Marcus Elkjer and drummer Max Winding, share their new single Algorithm, a soulful, latin-infused blend of r&b and electronic music. 

 

Out now via Iceberg Records, Algorithm is about the feeling that there is only one true soulmate. The song explores the human state of mind where every new partner can never live up to one's previous partner, and the one true love becomes an encoded algorithm in one's mind that cannot be escaped. This relatable message is beautifully delivered through Marcus Elkjer's smooth, soulful vocals which are backed by a captivating production that enhances its romantic and nostalgic vibes. I am very fond of the acoustic guitar riffs throughout the song and how they infuse it with a warm, sun-soaked atmosphere that I really enjoyed!
