Los Angeles-based “existential hip hop” duo CLOUDxCITY, composed of the energetic Enjel (singer/songwriter/producer) and enigmatic TAS (producer/DJ/songwriter), share their brand new single Stalling, their first ever collaboration with Cory Enemy.
Written with their long-time friend Cory Enemy, Stalling is a hypnotic fusion of future bass, hip hop, and R&B – all while
retaining the underlying pop sensibilities that make CLOUDxCITY’s music
relatable and flirtatious. I am really enjoying Enjel's smooth, expressive vocals which are packed with soul and emotion, gliding effortlessly over the infectious production. Apart from his vocals, I am particularly fond of the killer trap-inspired beat and killer guitars that together with warm rhythms and atmospherics create a memorable and enthralling listening experience perfect for a laid-back weekend.
