Anni Shares New Single ‘Fix Your Fears’
Los Angeles-native singer and songwriter Anni is back with a dreamy alt-pop gem called Fix Your Fears, out now via Saturday at Seven.
I am a fan of her rich, powerful vocals and how they effortlessly draw our attention to her relatable storytelling. Fix Your Fears is a song about being in a relationship and realising you can't fix that person and that sometimes it's just not meant to be and you have to walk away from it. This message is wrapped around a memorable alt-pop production that starts quite smoothly with subtle drums and emotion-drenched piano keys before giving way to a frenetic percussion in the highly-infectious chorus. I wrote this song about a past relationship I was in. I realized you can’t ‘fix someone’ , they have to want to fix themselves first. I think we have to learn to love people where they are at and understand that sometimes it just won’t work out between two people, no matter how hard you try. You have to know when it’s time to walk away.
