The Pairs Share New Single ‘Sunday to Tuesday’

Canadian band The Pairs have just shared their brand new single Sunday to Tuesday, a stunning piece of folk/singer-songwriter music.

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how it is packed with raw, honest emotion that instantly connected me to their relatable storytelling. I am really enjoying how Renée Coughlin's gorgeous, emotive vocals glide effortlessly over the rich, organic production, singing about the challenges artists face when wanting to find a balance between life on the road and their loving relationships. Apart from the vocals I am loving the harmonica which is beautifully paired with intricate guitar lines and steady drums that together create an overall warm, comforting atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Renée Coughlin said,
As musicians, our work takes us away from home and many people that we care deeply for. It’s a challenge to find a balance between a life of roaming on the road while still nurturing the kind of loving relationships that we each long for.
Written in a time when I was attempting to carve space in my life to be able to hold on to all of the things that I loved. While close relationships at home didn’t see the benefits of a Friday to Sunday weekend, and free weekday evenings, I imagined all the love that could fill the days between Sunday and Tuesday, when we weren’t on stage.
