Middle Part Shares New Single ‘Choke’

Middle Part, the moniker of Brooklyn-based indie pop artist Andrew Selkōw, has just shared his brand new single Choke an upbeat piece of indie pop music taken from his new album Time Is Elastic, out now via Little Planet Music. 

 

Written about the darker realities of lockdown and what that looked like for mental health, depression, addiction, and human connection, Choke finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his smooth, expressive vocals and storytelling abilities over lush, infectious indie-pop melodies. Apart from his vocals, I am particularly fond of the killer guitar riffs which are seamlessly paired with catchy drum patterns and rhythms that together create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere that contrasts with the lyrical content.
