Love You Later Shares New Single ‘Someday, Today Will Be Long Ago’

Love You Later, the solo project of Southern California-native dream-pop artist Lexi Aviles, has just shared her brand new single Someday, Today Will Be Long Ago, the latest single from her new 7-track EP, From The Window Seat, out now!

What I like the most about this song is Love You Later's dulcet, smooth tone which beautifully conveys the emotion of her relatable storytelling over infectious pop melodies. Someday, Today Will Be Long Ago is a song about recognising that it is okay to not have all figured out, that we grow and lear from our mistakes. This message is backed by steady drum patterns seamlessly paired with intricate guitar riffs (which give the song a slight rock touch) and lovely harmonies that together create an overall warm, reflective atmosphere. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Love You Later said,
I believe ‘Someday, Today Will Be Long Ago’ really ties the whole project together perfectly. I’ve made friends with the fact that I’m a messed up human - we all are. That’s how we learn from our mistakes and become better at being human in the first place. It’s okay to not have it all figured out and there’s a sense of freedom and power in the feeling of letting go. What will be, will be and there’s no sense in trying to force my life to happen the way I think it should. Writing this song was like a therapy session in of it self and I’m hoping it feels like a breath of fresh air to whoever listens.
