Louis Pax Share New Single ‘the road back’

Swedish pop band Louis Pax, consisting of lead singer Oscar Reingsdahl, his brother Gustav Reingsdahl on guitar, friends Hannes Tingfors on bass, and Hannes Pennsäter on drums, are back with their brand new single the road back, an upbeat indie-pop song. 

 

The first single to be taken from their upcomign EP, in case I don't see ya (part I), the road back is a great example of the band's incredible talent to deliver a memorable song that pairs powerful lyrics with a driving rhythm and infectious melodies. I am really enjoying Oscar's passionate vocals which beautifully convey the emotion of their relatable storytelling of unresolved emotions following a past romance that ended in a complicated, painful way. It finds the singer looking back on the relationship with a mix of longing, regret, and bitterness. The lyrics touch on love, authenticity, and conflicts that can arise in relationships. 

 

This relatable message is wrapped around an uplifting production that features lush guitar riffs seamlessly paired with punk-rock drumming and nostalgia-inducing elements that make it perfect for a reflective weekend. Check it out below!
