Ceville Share Debut Single ‘Wind X Sea (Ocean Blue)’

Los Angeles-based three-piece indie-pop group Ceville make their official music introduction with the release of their dreamy debut single Wind x Sea (Ocean Blue).

Recorded at Paramount Recording Studios by multi-Grammy-winning mixer/engineer Segal Huredia (Dr Dre, Eminem), mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Daniel Krieger, and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer James Auwarter, Wind X Sea (Ocean Blue) centres around a core memory of the group's members: a beach and surf break from their childhood. What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how it sounds perfect for a laid-back summer's day. The smooth, evocative vocals and harmonies glide beautifully over the infectious blend of hip-hop, dance beats, art-pop and chamber pop sensibilities. I am particularly fond of the bright, expansive synths and how they are beautifully paired with lush strings and warm rhythms that make this quite a soothing, chill piece of music. Check it out!

Speaking about the song, they said,

We wrote this song as a tribute to Windansea Beach, a beach and surf break we would all frequent on trips down to La Jolla (San Diego), CA.
