Zach Hood Shares New Single ‘30’

Following the success of his debut EP BLOSSOM, which arrived last year, Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and TikTok heartthrob Zach Hood is back with a heartfelt new offering called 30.

Out now on Arista Records, 30 finds the talented artist showcasing another honest and revealing side, singing about feeling stuck in the present and struggling to see a future. The song shows how hard it is for him to live in the present, something many of us can relate with. What I like the most about this song is how raw and vulnerable his vocal delivery is, packed with so much emotion that instantly made me feel each and every single word he is singing. Enhancing the emotion pouring from his vocals we have a stunning acoustic guitar-led production that is nicely paired with dreamy harmonies that together create an overall warm, heartfelt atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Zach Hood said,
‘30’ is about the struggle I have to see a future and feeling stuck in the present. I tend to always scare myself when I think about what life will be like when I’m older but I just can’t see it. My mother asked me “are you depressed” when I was visiting back home. It hit me like a train when she said that because I didn’t know if I was or wasn’t. I tend to lean on the sadder side when I go home because all I think about is leaving again. It’s so hard for me to live in the present no matter how hard I try. When I say “I hope they see me at 30,” I’m not talking about suicide. I genuinely hope they see me at 30. I’m taking life one step at a time and 30 is another step in the right direction.
