Thomas Day Shares New Single ‘MASOCHIST’

Nashville-based pop singer and songwriter Thomas Day has just shared his brand new single & video MASOCHIST, a high-energy, passionate piece of pop-rock out now via Arista Records.

I am loving how powerful and passionate his vocal delivery is, packed with raw emotion and soul that effortlessly captures our attention to his relatable storytelling. MASOCHIST is a song about being head over heels in love with someone that you don't even think about how badly you can get hurt. It's a song about wanting to feel that passion and love and possible hurt that may come from it. This relatable song is beautifully conveyed through his gorgeous vocals which are backed by intricate guitar riffs and punchy drum patterns that culminate in a high-energy, anthemic chorus perfect to sing along to. Accompanying the release, Thomas Day shares its official music video, directed by Logan Meis, which flawlessly embodies the passion and emotion of his storytelling. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Thomas Day said,
'MASOCHIST' is about a girl who I met and fell head over heels in love with, so fast and so hard that I didn’t care how badly I could get hurt. I wrote this song with my two friends Steve Rusch and Quinn Lewis. We were talking about the subtle complexities in relationships, and this song poured out. It’s about not being afraid to be hurt. Actually, it’s about wanting to be hurt.
